Natural and cultural development of the Alpine region

30 students explored the Alpine region between Reit im Winkl and Berchtesgaden from 13 to 19 June 2011. The excursion was enhanced by numerous external speakers with local roots and dealt, among other things, with the importance of alpine farming for nature conservation and tourism, the protected goods and objectives of the Eastern Chiemgau Alps Nature Reserve and the Berchtesgaden National Park.
