A warm welcome to guest lecturer Garyfallia Katsavounidou

Guest lecturer Garyfallia Katsavounidou from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will be in Hannover from 15 to 26 April 2024.

We are very pleased to announce that Garyfallia Katsavounidou from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will be teaching at the Institute of Environmental Planning from 15 to 26 April 2024. Garyfallia Katsavounidou's research interests include people-centred urbanism, participatory planning and children’s independent mobility. As Associate Professor of Urban Design and Planning at the Department of Spatial Planning and Development, School of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), she teaches in the fields of urban planning, urban history, social and anthropological approaches to urban space, and sustainable and resilient urban development, among others. Her stay is supported by the Eramsus+ staff mobility programme.
