Workshop with results from research on social cohesion

Transfer of research results on social cohesion. Invitation to the practical workshop “...and how does it benefit practice?” on 22.05.2024

What do the different forms of social integration look like in practice at the local level? The results of the project teams at the Research Institute for Social Cohesion (Forschungsinstitut Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt (FGZ)) at Leibniz Universität Hannover are now available to answer these and other questions. To ensure that the findings do not just remain in the researchers' drawers, another important goal is the transfer, i.e. the communication of the scientific results to practitioners, politicians, administrators and people who are involved locally. Practical results on the topics of democracy, social climate and art as the glue of society will be presented in a practical workshop at the FGZ. In addition, we would like to use the workshop for an exchange and invite you to discuss together how transfer processes should be designed in order to further expand participation and integration with practice.

You can find the complete program for the workshop here.

The workshop will take place on 22.05.2024 from 14h-18h in the Pavillon Hannover. For participation, we ask for an informal registration by 08.05.2024 by e-mail to heil@umwelt.uni-hannover.de.
