Hi, I am Gjylisha Cena and I'm thrilled to share an update from my research that I am doing in the working group ‘Environmental Behavior and Planning” at the Institute of Environmental Planning. Currently, I am immersed in a study focused on understanding the impact of weather condition changes on farmers' income uncertainty, perceptions, and adaptation strategies, with a special emphasis on diversification and agri-tourism. My fieldwork recently led me to Kosovo, where I conducted insightful semi-structured interviews with farmers engaged in a variety of agricultural pursuits, including agritourism, organic farming, apple orchards, livestock raising, and traditional food production. Most of these farms are small, family-owned enterprises. The experience has been incredibly interesting and meaningful, shedding light on the resilience and adaptability of these agricultural communities. I look forward to sharing more updates as we continue to unravel valuable insights throughout this research project.
