We look back on an eventful and inspiring AESOP YA Conference 2025, which took place at Leibniz University Hannover and was organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Sciences. The conference brought together early-career researchers from around the world to exchange information on the latest developments and research in the field of urban and spatial planning.
The highlights of the event included inspiring keynote lectures by Meike Levin-Keitel, Mina di Marino, Francesco Campagnari, and Karel Van den Berghe, who provided valuable insights into current research projects and shared their experiences within the AESOP network.
In addition to the keynotes, the conference offered workshops, guided tours, and a film evening. A particular highlight was the diversity of the presented research and doctoral projects as well as the subsequent discussion rounds.
