Adrian Vargas López, part of the "Environmental Behavior and Planning" working group led by Prof. Dr. Ann-Kathrin Koessler, presented at the annual conference of the Research network Economic Experiments for the Common Agricultural Policy (REECAP) in Warsaw, Poland. The network brings together researchers, evaluators and policymakers interested in the use of economic experimental approaches for more evidence-based policy design and evaluation.
Adrian Vargas' presentation discussed adaptation strategies employed by farmers in response to changing climate conditions, particularly in the aftermath of extreme weather events. The empirical analysis provides important insights into the behavioral and institutional factors shaping farmers' adaptation decisions to climate change.
